Haiti Hurricane Relief
Hurricane Matthew hit southern Haiti as a category 4 storm on October 3 and 4, 2016. It decimated many cities and villages, including Chambellan, a village that is the home to Life Church’s sister church through a partnership with Reciprocal Ministries International (RMI).
The hurricane destroyed many crops and homes, as well as livestock. Sadly, many Haitian lives were taken from the initial impact of the hurricane as well as from storm-born diseases and limited access to medical treatment.
Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and is not resourced to handle this kind of natural disaster on its own.
Recovery continues many months later, and may even take years. If you would like to provide support please follow this link to give through our trusted partner, Reciprocal Ministries International.
