God Moments
Sunday, July 26, 2015 :: Mike Kaply

It seems like when we get older, we start forgetting things. Where we placed our keys. Birthdays. Anniverseries. Sometimes we can even forget the things that God has done in our life.

This Sunday, we explore how we can make our memories of what God has done for us never fade.

Whole Gospel
Sunday, July 12, 2015 :: Keith Abbott

It's estimated that more than 4,000 churches in the United States close their doors every year. Between 2010 and 2012, half of all churches in the U.S. did not add a single new member. Each year 2.7 million church members fall into inactivity. Why is this? In the New Testament we see explosive growth. In today's church, no so much. Could it be that the church is only embracing half the Gospel?

This Sunday, we explore some of the shifts that must happen for the church to live out the whole Gospel.

Complete
Sunday, July 12, 2015 :: Chad Wright

The Bible says we are complete in Christ (Col. 2: 9-10 NKJV). Do you feel complete? As Christians we can often struggle with what it means to be complete in Christ and we end up in an exhausting loop of trying to earn God's love. This Sunday we explore how to get off that endless treadmill of trying to justify and learn to accept the gift He gave us.

Living in God's Strength
Sunday, July 5, 2015 :: Tim Schlung

We've all seen it happen. Someone we know who was once following God so closely seems to give up. They burn out on the Christian life, and now they're living in a way that's indistinguishable from those who don't have a relationship with God. Each and everyone of us is in danger of this happening to us. Why does this happen and what can we do to prevent it? Today we explore God's plan for helping us to continue in our walk with him.

Pool Party & Baptism
Save the date, August 16 on your calendar now! We will be heading over to Veteran’s Memorial Park Pool for a great time of fun, fellowship & baptisms.One of the ways that Jesus asks Christians to participate in following him Baptism is a picture of what happens to us when we pray to become believers: death, burial, and resurrection. Our old life is buried and a new life emerges. Baptism is a very important step in the Christian life when we publicly show our commitment to Jesus Christ. Baptism does not give you spiritual salvation that makes you right with God, only your faith in Jesus Christ does that. If you would like to be baptized or find out more about baptism, contact Elaine Schlung (admin.yourlifechurch.org).
