This is what we are talking about this Sunday, March 31st as we continue our sermon series, Keeping It Real, which is about living an authentic and bold faith.

Keeping it Real: Part 1 Living an Authentic Faith: 1 Thessalonians 1:1-4
Sunday, February 17, 2019 :: Brian Lightsey

Before long, our church will be meeting in our new buildings and expanded campus. With all of the new change before us, we want to pause and go backward to the very beginning.

In this new sermon series called, Keeping it Real, we will walk through 1 Thessalonians, one of the first books the Apostle Paul ever wrote. It was written when Christianity was in its infancy, less than 20 years after the resurrection of Jesus and birth of the church. The Christian movement was fresh, raw, pure, organic, and authentic.

As we move forward we want to make sure we keep ourselves rooted in a real and genuine faith. This series will talk about what a real bold faith looks like!

William James said, “The great use of a life is to spend it for something that will outlast it.” It’s the law of legacy. What will outlast you? What are you leaving behind?

These are questions for every friend, spouse, parent, and Christian.

This Sunday we conclude our sermon series, Growing Pains. We  talk about leaving a lasting legacy

Growing Pains: Part 5 Comfort to Commision: 2 Corinthians 5:1-21
Sunday, February 3, 2019 :: Tim Schlung

Missions is not a trip, but rather a way of life. We are "on mission" when we reach our neighbors, family, and friends for Christ through our words and actions. But we must never forget that God is also deeply interested in the church's mission to bring his Gospel message to far reaches of the world so that all nations can have the opportunity to become his disciples.

This Sunday  we continue our series, Growing Pains and learn how you can be a part of bringing the God news of God's saving grace to all the people of the world.

Growing Pains: Part 4 Us to Them: Luke 15:1-24
Sunday, January 27, 2019 :: Brian Lightsey

There is a lot of tension in our culture right now. People are divided with “us” vs. “them” mindsets.

This “us” vs. “them” stance can even find its way into our churches. There are “us” on the inside and “them” on the outside. What is our posture supposed to be toward “them” – the non-Christians, the skeptics, the spiritually confused, the too-busy for God, the irreligious, the immoral, and the unchurched and dechurched?

This Sunday we continue our series, Growing Pains.  We ask an essential growth question: What about “them”?
