Sunday, December 2, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

This Sunday we conclude our series, Detox from Religion. We have been talking about detoxing from religion and how God created us to be lovers, not judgers. God can reverse the curse from judgment to love, and we will learn how.

Detox from Religion: Part 2 The Sin of the Forbidden Tree: Pride: Genesis 2 & 3 & Matthew 9:9-12 & James 4:11-12
Sunday, November 18, 2018 :: Brian Lightsey

We were created to love, so why do we judge? Ever think about that?

In the book by David Kinnaman and  Gabe Lyons called unchristian: What a New Generation Really Thinks about Christianity…and Why It Matters, they found that 87% of Millennial Non-Christians think Christians are judgmental. Why is this number so high? Why is this our tendency?

This Sunday, we explore why we have such a hunger and compulsion to judge others, in our sermon series, Detox from Religion.
