Nate Barron
Nate has been attending Life Church since 2021, and came on staff the same year. He was in full time Youth Ministry for 5 years right out of college. After sensing a call to teach high school English, this led him back to school for a second degree in English. In addition to teaching since 2009, Nate has also coached high school guys and girls basketball, track, and softball. He is currently teaching English at Glenn High School in addition to his role as Student Life Pastor. Best of both worlds! He gets to do ministry at the church and hang out with students all day at school!

He is passionate about: “Seeing people grow closer to God and each other!”
In his free time he likes to: “Explore Austin! We love trying new restaurants and coffee shops. Tacos and Pizza are my love languages!
I also enjoy the variety and challenge of triathlon training. (The recovery meals are the best part!)”
Favorite Life Church Event: “Student LIFE – Life Groups – I love to see the connections these students are making with each other and their life group leaders.”

Family: “Holly and I met in college, and married in 2002.
She is a property manager for an Austin based management company. She currently leads a life group of 11th & 12th grade girls on Wednesday nights, and a class of 4 year olds on Sunday mornings with our daughter.
Our son is senior at McNeil High School and will be attending Texas State University in the fall where he will be majoring in Economics. He is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing guitar and bass. His talents are on display anytime the student band leads worship!
Our daughter is a 7th grader who loves art and theater. She currently serves in the 4 year old class with her mom on Sunday mornings.”
