Why are we called 127LIFE?
We, at Life Church, believe that children are not only important to God, but that God calls us to care for His children, especially those who come from hard places. The Bible states:
“...look after orphans…in their distress…”
James 1:27
“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.”
1 Samuel 1:27
“Children are a heritage from the Lord…blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them…”
Psalm 127:3-5
127LIFE is a group at Life Church where we not only read these verses, but are living them.
Goals of 127LIFE:
Provide community for families living the 127LIFE, who understand the joys and challenges of parenting children from hard places.
Provide resources and care for families living the 127LIFE within and outside of Life Church
Offer BOLD opportunities for every individual and family of Life Church to bless our foster families in our community through training, respite care, and meeting tangible needs
