First Gift 2024
Goal: $15,000 (split equally between recipients)
Christmas is a time for giving gifts. At Life Church we believe that our first Christmas gift – our priority gift – should be to Jesus. That’s why we are taking up a special offering, above and beyond our normal tithes, called the “First Gift.” We will collect $15,000 to be split equally among two ministries: One local, and one global.

More Than Welcome
Ministry Description: More Than Welcome works with refugees and asylum seekers from all over the world, coming to the Austin area, helping to connect them with followers of Christ. Their mission is “helping refugees and asylum seekers successfully transition into our community and making them feel more than welcome in the process. More Than Welcome shares the mission of Christ to welcome, serve, and love the foreigner.”

Casas Por Cristo – Home Build
Ministry Description: Casas Por Cristo is a ministry that works alongside the Honduran church, utilizing Casas por Cristo volunteers to help alleviate families’ financial burdens. It brings the hope of Christ to this remarkable land full of beauty, history, and culture. With the provision of safe and secure housing, the largest tangible gift anyone will ever receive, CPC proclaims the truth of God’s love not only to a family but also to the community at large.
