Oasis 2026

Oasis is a fun, women’s event on Tuesday evenings (6:30-9pm) in July!

You will eat dinner, fellowship with other ladies, hear from a speaker, and learn a new skill in a fun class! It’s awesome!

We are meeting July 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th, but it’s okay if you can’t make every night!

Classes Offered:

INTERMEDIATE CROCHET

Our goal will be to focus on the things you are interested in learning. We’ll start with granny squares and move on from week to week.

*Should be proficient in single and double crochet. You will receive a book with an assortment of patterns and instructions for the projects. Bring your own tools, some yarn, and your questions. Beginning stitches will not be taught.

PAPER EMBROIDERY

Come learn how to do basic embroidery stitches, from paper to fabric! We’ll start with fun gift tags, create beautifully crafted cards, with the option to progress to fabric on the last night. No previous experience needed. All supplies provided.

“UNCLUTTERED FAITH” BOOK STUDY

Own less, love more, and make an impact in your world. Learn how uncluttering physical possessions can allow your faith to be uncluttered and help you reach your full potential through Christ. We’ll share insights from the book, Uncluttered Faith, as well as scriptures, practical tips, and weekly challenges to discover a new, better way of living.

Let’s play games together!  Each week will focus on learning how to play games in various categories: dice, cards, board, and strategy in a relaxed and fun environment!  Games will be provided, and you can bring a favorite of yours, too!

“DEFINE THE RELATIONSHIP” BOOK STUDY

What is your relationship status with Jesus? In this study we will look at who Jesus is and explore the freedom we find only through following Him. For folks considering the Christian faith, new Christians or those wishing to grow in the basics of their faith.

These interactive sessions combine DVD clips, Bible study, discussion times and testimony footage. We will explore the truth and content of the gospel, and how to begin and keep going in the Christian life.

BEGINNING WATERCOLOR

Explore the art of watercolor in this four-week beginner course. Through simple, guided projects each week, students will build foundational skills and confidence in a fun, low-pressure setting. No experience required. All supplies provided.

UNFINISHED

Do you have an unfinished project? That baby blanket you started to crochet, or a scrapbook that needs some attention? Papers to grade or maybe even your tax return? Come join us as we fellowship together, hear a short devotional and discuss how Jesus is working on His unfinished project in us all while working on that unfinished project that has needed your extra attention.
