The Table: August Challenge

As a church body, we are focusing on inviting people to our table! This month we want to encourage you to focus on the church table. Do you have brothers or sisters in Christ that you meet with regularly to sharpen each other? What about a mentor? Or are you mentoring someone? If you said no to these questions, we encourage you to invite someone to your “Church Table” and lean into these relationships!

What is the Table?

Think of all the tables in your life.
At home.
In a park.
At work.
In a restaurant.
We sit at a lot of different tables.

Now think about who is sitting at those tables with you?

What if as Followers of Jesus we were more intentional about engaging with and inviting people to some of those tables?

We are engaging in 3 KINDS OF RELATIONSHIPS at our Tables:

• Being with the CHURCH beside us.
• Being with the COMMUNITIES around us.
• Being with the CULTURES unlike us.
