A 55+ Ministry
We have a place and a role for Seniors at Life Church!
At Life Church, we believe that God isn’t through with us just because we are empty-nesters, retirees, or over the age of 55. Through our Legacy ministry, we are mobilizing Seniors to make an impact. Legacy facilitates not only ministry to Seniors, but also ministry from Seniors.
What Legacy is about:
Are you looking to connect with others who are in a similar stage of life? Legacy provides activities that bring Seniors together for fellowship, encouragement and fun.
These activities include shared meals, game nights, trips, Life Groups, service opportunities and more. If you are a senior at Life Church, we want to help you connect with others.
We want to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of everyone at Life Church, including Seniors. It is important that we all have support networks that equip us to walk through life together, from the cradle to the grave, with no one left behind. In the Legacy ministry,we make sure Seniors know that they are loved and valued.
At Life Church, we actively value intergenerational relationships. Legacy has a strong, outward orientation that focuses on helpings Seniors come alongside younger generations in order to be an influence in their walk with God. Our theme verse is “O God, you have taught me from my earliest childhood, and I constantly tell others about the wonderful things you do. Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation, your mighty miracles to all who come after me” (Ps. 71:17-18).
