Amy Jo Wright
Amy Jo has been attending Life Church since 2014, and came on staff in 2021. She comes from a background in education after earning a degree in Elementary Education many, many years ago. She taught kinder and first grade for nearly a decade before moving on to volunteer teaching adults and doing admin roles. She’s also done some public speaking engagements and trainings of various groups on child development, teaching, and technology.

She is passionate about: “Using the Church community to be the problem solvers people look to in the world.”
In her free time she likes to: “Spend time with the family, read, play video games, do puzzles”
Special Skills: “I can stick my whole fist in my mouth, have a photographic memory, can type pretty fast, and can get my feet in the right place while dancing sometimes.”
About her family: “My husband is known as “Catman” around the church because he’s the guy that wears the jacket of cat faces when the weather turns cold. He came with two kids, who are now 17 and 12, and are both amazing kids doing amazing things and I am so proud. We have one together, who’s 6. He keeps us on our toes by constantly showing us new skills and ideas he picked up out of seemingly nowhere.”
