Brian Lightsey
Pastor Brian started Life Church (called Lakeline Church back then) in 1996 with a core group of families. Since then, the church has grown and blossomed! Brian has been working since he was in elementary school with his own lawnmowing business and various jobs through graduate school. He served as a youth pastor before staring Life Church, and he’s still young at heart!
Favorite Verse: John 10:10 “…I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (NIV) Jesus came to give us life!
He is passionate about: “Reaching out and teaching people about the BOLD life that Jesus Christ offers everyone!”
In his free time he likes to: “Workout, read, garden, landscape, cook, watch movies and sports, and cheer on the Longhorns!”
Favorite Life Church Event: “Any local or global mission project!”
Special Skills: “I used to create artwork sketches and breakdance!”
About his family: “I have been married to Helen since college, and we are now enjoying our empty nest and this new season of encouraging our two grown sons and daughter-in-law.”
