Taylor Elrod
Taylor has been attending Life Church since 2019 and joined the staff in 2022. Taylor holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and specializes in behavior management, with years of hands-on experience supporting children across a wide range of developmental and behavioral needs.
After becoming a mom, her passion for early childhood education grew even stronger, deepening her commitment to serving both children and families. She has also served on a leadership team for Medicaid for Schools, helping ensure district compliance while supporting staff in implementing positive behavior strategies.

She is passionate about: “It is a true blessing to continue my passion for working for the Lord at KDO. I love partnering with families to guide their children to follow Christ and provide a positive, faith-filled learning experience.”

In her Free Time: “In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, diving into projects that let me be creative and hands-on, as well as learning new things about child development and volunteering in ways that let me give back to the community.”
About her family:
“My husband, Corey, and I share a full and joyful life centered around faith, family, and supporting one another in every season. Together, we are raising three incredible daughters, each with her own unique personality and dreams.
Our oldest daughter, Emma, is currently in college where she serves as a student leader. She has a heart for animals and is pursuing a future in large animal veterinary medicine.
Riley, our middle daughter, is in high school, where she stays active playing both flag football and softball. She is driven and focused on her goal of becoming a DFO, working hard both on and off the field.
The youngest, Ella, brings energy and joy to our family with her big personality. She loves dressing up, using her imagination, and learning about God through her time at church.
As a family, we value time together, strong faith, and cheering each other on in every stage of life.”
Taylor is a force to be reckoned with! She brings such tenacity and determination, but she also has such a kind, sweet spirit. We are so blessed to get to have her as our KDO Director!
