Missions at Life Church

Life Church Missions

In Luke 9:11, it says that “the crowds followed” Jesus. It also says that Jesus “spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.” (NIV) Jesus had incredible influence. People followed him not only because he taught them truth, but because he served them and met their needs. He taught them and gave truth. He also healed them and helped them. Jesus had irresistible influence because he had a sacred balance of truth and grace, teaching and helping, and showing and telling.

At Life Church, our goal is to follow the example of Jesus

He commanded us to “go and make disciples of all nations.” Teach about truth. He also gave us the example of reaching out to “the poor” (Luke 4:18 - NIV) and “the least of these” (Matthew 28:19 - NIV). This is about grace.

We strive to bring life to our world through God’s truth and grace both locally and globally. We believe people can use whatever abilities they have (teachers, nurses, construction workers, business people…) to make a difference. We are involved in local outreach efforts, have started five churches, and go on trips to under-resourced and unreached parts of the world.
